Description
Jet A-1 is a type of aviation fuel designed for use in jet turbine engines. It’s a kerosene-grade fuel, differing significantly from the gasoline-based fuels used in piston-engine aircraft.
Jet A-1 has a lower freezing point compared to Jet A, another common aviation turbine fuel, which makes it particularly suited for long-haul flights where very cold temperatures at high altitudes can be encountered.
The fuel has specific qualities that make it suitable for aircraft use. These include a high flash point to reduce the risk of accidental ignition, energy-dense characteristics for efficient combustion, and specific additives to prevent freezing and microbial growth in the fuel.
Jet A-1 is used in a variety of aircraft, including commercial airliners, cargo planes, military jets, and certain types of turboprop aircraft. The use of this fuel is not limited to just jets, however. Some high-performance, turbine-engine helicopters also use Jet A-1 fuel.
In general, any aircraft that utilizes a turbine engine, which includes most modern commercial and military aircraft, will use a fuel like Jet A-1. It’s not suitable for use in piston engines, which require a different type of fuel, such as Avgas 100LL.

Steel barrel contains 200 litres (e.g. loaded with 140 kg of gasoline) or 55 litres equivalent to 40 kg of gasoline
