Jurgis Kairys
Jurgis Kairys is a world-renowned aerobatic pilot and aviation innovator, born in Lithuania.
He is recognized for his exceptional skills and contributions to aerobatics as well as for his aviation-related inventions. Kairys began his journey in the world of aviation as an engineer, designing parts for the Sukhoi aircraft. His expertise and passion for flying soon led him to the cockpit, where he showcased his extraordinary flying skills.

Famous for his precision and creativity in aerobatic flying, including inventing new maneuvers and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with an aircraft.
Some of his significant achievements include winning the World Aerobatic Championship, being a multiple medalist at the European Aerobatics Championships, and pioneering the sport of Aerobatic Freestyle. Perhaps most notably, Kairys became the first person to successfully perform an aerobatic maneuver known as the „Cobra”, where the aircraft pitches up beyond vertical, yet continues to maintain controlled flight.
